The "Red" singer reportedly turned down an offer to play a billionaire's wedding for a whopping $2 million paycheck so that she could sing for free at the christening of her friend's baby.
The tycoon told 25-year-old Taylor he would pay a million dollars a song if she then spent a mere 30 minutes mingling with him, his bride and their guests.
But seven-times Grammy winner Taylor, who has already amassed a £160 million fortune, according to Forbes magazine, went instead to the Los Angeles home of one of her closest friends.
Model and actress Jaime King was celebrating the christening of her second child, son Leo, born last month.
A fellow guest said: “Taylor arrived with her own music backing tracks and belted out some of her biggest hits, including Love Story, I Knew You Were Trouble and Red.
“She even rocked little Leo in her arms and hummed a lullaby to him. But he started screaming almost immediately, so she sheepishly handed him back to his mom.”
It seems Taylor Swift couldn't contain her joy at meeting her godson for the first time as she took to Instagram to post a gushing images with the infant.
Last night proud mum Jaime, 36, took to Instagram to share a doting snap of Taylor with her baby.
