Chris Brown 'to fight for joint-custody of baby Royalty.

Fighting back: Chris Brown plans to counter Nia Guzman's efforts to take full custody of Royalty, their one-year-old daughter, with the defense that King Ba is a danger to his youngster

Their attempt at co-parenting has hardly been plain sailing. But, for US singer Chris Brown, it's going to get even more dramatic as reports say he'll battle for joint custody by claiming his baby momma's live-in boyfriend, King Ba, is a bad influence and a wanted man.

According to TMZ, the 26-year-old singer has plans to counter Nia Guzman's efforts to take full custody of Royalty, their one-year-old daughter, with the defense.
King Ba, whose real name is Brazil Riesling and is listed on Royalty's birth certificate, was reportedly charged with fraud and is currently wanted by police.

Wanted: A Houston TV station broadcast this CCTV footage of King Ba, who police allege deposited $5000 in forged US Treasury checks into his bank account; he has been linked to Nia Guzman, who is the mother of Chris Brown's baby

Provocative picture: Brown is afraid that his daughter, pictured here with King Ba, could be put in danger

They report that he's 'accused of forging more than $5,000 worth of U.S. Treasury checks' and state that police have released bank surveillance footage of him.
As a result, Brown is afraid that his daughter could be put in danger and will demand equal parenting rights when he appears in court, mid September.

Chris' new claims against come as Nia claims she is no longer King Ba's girlfriend, although his listed on Royalty's birth certificate.
The counter claim comes as she herself tries to alienate Chris from his daughter's life.

Concerned: Nia, who conceived Royalty during a fling with Chris, has reportedly been concerned about Chris' responsibility and connections to crimes

Nia has claimed that Chris might put Royalty in harm's way, that he or his friends might use drugs in her presence, and that violent acquaintances of the singer might endanger the girl.

In rectifying Nia's claimed, Chris had increased security after a recent break-in and denied Royalty had ever been exposed to either drugs or violent individuals.
It was not specified as to when Chris' opposition filing would be submitted, and Royalty remains in her mother's primary custody for the moment.
This would not be the first time Chris has needed to file legal paperwork with regard to his only child, who was conceived during a fling with Nia.
