Singer learns of girlfriend's cheating live on TV and beats her up

Romanian Singer Nicolae Guta, who is hailed as the ‘king of gypsy music’ in his home country of Romania, beat his cheating girlfriend live on TV.

While on a Romanian chat show with his family including his current girlfriend Lulia, his ex Narcisa, and his former stepson Nicu Nicolae learned that his girlfriend had been unfaithful to him with his stepson.

Nicu told his step-father of his tryst with Lulia, saying it was revenge for the way Nicolae had treated his mother. On hearing the news, Nicolae turned to his lover and grabbed her hair, before slapping her and calling her a slut.

In a translation, Nicu let slip about the affair and when Nicolae turned to his girlfriend and she didn’t reply, he saw red.

He then turned to his stepson and yelled: ‘Are you saying you had anything to do with this woman [his girlfriend]?’ Nicu responded: ‘Yes I did.’

The singer, who has had numerous affairs himself, got together with Lulia while he was in a relationship with a woman called Flori.

Nicu explained his actions by saying: ‘You mocked my mom, I showed you. Iulia liked me, told me to stop by her place and that was it. What can I say?’

It’s not known whether the pair are still together.
