Things got ugly and scary at a Brazilian soccer match this past weekend when a referee pulled out a handgun on the pitch and had to be restrained by fellow officials. watch Video
The incident unfolded at a match between Brumadinho and Amantes da Bola in Brumadinho.
The referee, Gabriel Murta, allegedly reacted to getting kicked and slapped by Amantes da Bola players, who demanded a red card for an opposing player. Murta went to the locker room and returned to the pitch with the gun, as seen in the video above. Fortunately, he did not use it.
