Photos Graphic content: Troops Repel Boko Haram Attack In Gwoza, Massacre Them all


Nigerian Troops, on Friday morning repelled an attack by Boko Haram fighters in the Gwoza area and the sect members suspected to have come from Sambisa Forest opened fire on troops at about 4am. In the ensuing battle that lasted about 3 hours, many Boko Haram fighters were killed as the fire power of the troops sent them scampering.

Many arms and ammunition were recovered. Because this major victory, normalcy has returned to Gwoza.
Gwoza used to be under Boko Haram control, now is one of the territories recovered recently by the Nigerian Army.
