According to daily report, the aged mother of Dream team V1 coach, Samson Yebowei Siasia, Mrs. Ogere Siasia has been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen on Monday in Bayelsa.
Madam Ogere Siasia, was kidnapped in her house at Odoni Village in the Saghama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State in the early hours of Monday. The gunmen forced their way to the house through the back door, and all efforts made by the husband to stop the evil perpetrators fell on deaf ears as they took her away on motorbike.
The kidnappers decided to kidnap madam Ogere thinking that is the only way they can get money from the family, even though no formal contact has been made in terms of ransom so far by the kidnappers. But the police in that division has however promised to stay on top of the situation by fetching out the kidnappers, with the assurance that the missing mother of Coach Samson Siasia will return alive to the house unhurt.
Meanwhile, Coach Siasia expressed shock on the incident when contacted on phone in Gambia where he is currently on national assignment with the U-23 team that his aged mother has been kidnapped. He pleaded with the abductors to release his mother.
