The couple have released a statement saying 'mother and son are doing well' The reality star, 35, welcomed the child this morning, according to a statement on her website. A representative for the couple wrote: "To our fans. Kanye and I welcome our baby boy! Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. "Mother and son are doing well."
The statement was accompanied by a picture of the couple holding hands.
Kim and Kanye, who already have daughter North West, two, have not yet revealed the tot's name.
The news comes just two days after rapper Kanye, 38, announced his baby was set to arrive "any day now" despite Kim's due date reportedly being Christmas Day. Last weekend, the mother-of-two revealed she had undergone a procedure to have the baby to be turned around in her womb as it was in the breech position.
She wrote on her website: "This weekend I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an ECV (External Cephalic Version, or a Version), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position.
"They don't give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful.
"Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!!"
But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has made no secret of the troubles she's had while pregnant. Writing on her website earlier this week, she said she felt fat as f***" and that her "cankles are out of control". In a previous post, she wrote: "I'm gonna keep it real: For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life! LOL! "I don't enjoy one moment of it and I don't understand people who enjoy it."
