The highly-anticipated feature film Road to Yesterday has been slated for release in all Nigerian cinemas on Friday, the 27th of November, 2015 the producers, T.E.N (The Entertainment Network), have disclosed.
Starring Award-winning actress, Genevieve Nnaji, the Road to Yesterday, shot on various locations across Lagos, Nigeria, tells the epic love story about a couple desperate to mend its marriage on a road trip to a relative’s funeral. However when memories and secrets from the past begin to unravel, the couple realize a lot more is at stake than their relationship.
Ms. Nnaji, stars as ‘Victoria Izu’ the conflicted wife and mother in Road to Yesterday. The movie is the Nollywood A-lister’s first feature film in over two years and there is no gain-saying the fact that movie lovers would enjoy watching her return to the big screen once again.
The original screenplay was written and directed by Ishaya Bako, a London Film School Alumni, and creator of a series of highly acclaimed festival favourites including the award winning Braids on a Bald Head – Best Short Film at the 2012 AMAA Awards.
