Arsenal are 'soft and weak' blasts Roy Keane ahead of Sunday's Manchester United clash

The Irishman was less than impressed as the Gunners slumped to a 3-2 defeat at home to Olympiacos on Tuesday evening.  Roy Keane has blasted Arsenal as 'soft and weak' following another defeat in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

The Gunners were heavy pre-match favourites to beat Olympiacos at the Emirates, but were beaten 3-2 on a frustrating evening in north London.

David Ospina came in for particular criticism, after fumbling the ball over his line for the visitors' second goal, and Arsene Wenger's team selection was also called into question, as he left Petr Cech on the bench.

It leaves Arsenal with an uphill struggle to reach the last 16, sitting three points behind both Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos, and still having to play Bayern Munich twice.
Keane said: “They’re soft. They’re weak. “The goals they give away you saw [on Tuesday] night, two set-pieces again. You’ve got no chance of winning any big game if you defend like that.
There is a certain weakness to the group. They look like they lack characters, leaders and winners.”

Wenger lost his temper when probed about why he picked Ospina instead of Cech following the Colombian's clanger.
In a tense post-match press conference, Wenger said: “I do not have to sit here and give you any explanation about every decision I make. It’s a farce. Ospina played 19 games last season, kept 14 clean sheets. Last week at Tottenham, he had a fantastic game. No keeper is mistake-free, it could have happened to Petr Cech as well. That’s part of it.”
